The Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre is a fully accredited, 41 acute care bed and 5 chronic care bed hospital; and a 20 bed Extended Care facility.
Project(s) Background: The Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre underwent a large scale hospital relocation and required knowledgeable consultants to offer consulting and hands on assistance to mitigate the relocation of its staff and IT equipment.
Tech Specs: Assisted with coordinating Hospital relocation. New Site setup, including workstations, IP Phones, Data Centre equipment mounting and wiring. Server(s) relocation and reconfiguration, enduser support and technology consulting.

Project(s) Background: The Municipality of Sioux Lookout wanted to converge their 5 facility locations over high speed fiber optic links to offer Voice over IP and Server consolidation.
Tech Specs: Reconfiguration of Municipal Network to unify 5 remote locations over Single Mode Fiber (SMF), via the utilization of Layer 3 switching.

Sioux Lookout Municipal Airport.
The Sioux Lookout airport acts as a hub for passengers and patients for the Meno Ya Win Health Centre from 29 northern communities and 17 nursing stations, as well as a mid-point for sportsmen and cargo to the communities and fishing and hunting areas in the further north. Due to its valuable services to the northern communities, this airport is acting as a major transfer point between the southern and northern communities.
Project(s) Background: The Sioux Lookout Municipal Airport required a high resolution total coverage CCTV solution that offered remote access and ease of use.
Tech Specs: The CCTV system was designed to utilize High resolution Megapixel IP cameras over both cat6 cabling and Wireless point-to-point links. The system now offers the added benefit of IP connectivity between the Terminal Building and the Management Offices over redundant WLAN links.

NWI provides premium water/ wastewater operations to 34 facilities under Operating Authority contract. NWI performs a wide variety of consulting, operation and maintenance services. These include professional engineers and technicians performing everything from project management to plant start-ups, commissioning and audits.
Project(s) Background: The Municipality of Sioux Lookout water treatment facility (managed by Northern Waterworks) required preventative maintenance to their SCADA Supervisory Station.
Tech Specs: By applying IT best practices to the improve the system performance of the supervisory station, we were able to prevent unwanted system crashes and help with system performance.
